Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Develop and implement HR strategy aligned with company goals.
Partner with leadership on workforce planning and organizational design.
Lead recruitment, onboarding, and retention to support growth.
Build and nurture a strong, inclusive culture that reflects Tailsways values.
Oversee performance management, training, and career development.
Implement scalable HR systems, processes, and policies.
Manage compensation, benefits, and employee engagement initiatives.
Act as a trusted advisor to leadership and mentor to the HR team.

Preferred candidate profile

Minimum 4 years of progressive HR leadership experience.
Experience in building or scaling HR processes in a growing company.
Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Hands-on and adaptable, able to balance strategy with execution.
Passion for people, culture, and creating positive workplaces.
Experience in service, healthcare, or pet care industry is a plus.
