Chief Financial Officer

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, guiding its financial strategy, planning, and maintaining its fiscal stability. Collaborating with the executive management team to establish long-range goals, strategies, plans, and policies. Additionally, the CFO will oversee the functions of IT, Process & Audit, and Supply Chain Management. Managing the company's financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and auditing. Ensuring that the financial transactions, policies, and procedures meet the organization's short and long-term business objectives and are conducted in accordance with regulations, accounting principles, and standards. Developing and implementing the financial strategy of the company, including long-term financial planning and forecasting, risk management, and investment strategies. Evaluating Business Case feasibility on new investments and driving Organic and Inorganic growth for the business. Overseeing the preparation and communication of monthly and annual financial statements. Ensuring timely reporting of key financial data and updates to the MD and other key stakeholders. Liaising with the Statutory Auditors of the company to ensure timely closure of Statutory Audit, GST, and Income Tax Audits. Overseeing the fund raise requirements of the company by liaising with the Bankers and other financial institutions, raising adequate debt capital in line with Business requirements. Driving efforts to continuously reduce the cost of capital and maintain good current and liquidity ratios. Ensuring legal and regulatory compliance regarding all financial functions, including tax planning and compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations. Reviewing existing processes across the organization and making periodic changes in line with business growth and market dynamics. Driving Internal Financial Controls to minimize organizational Risk. Driving the Internal Audit, Stock Audit, and Retail process Audit teams to ensure adherence to company policies & procedures and ensure adequate control of inventory. Developing and implementing IT strategies that align with business goals, ensuring technology initiatives drive business value and competitiveness. Developing and implementing a comprehensive supply chain strategy to achieve organizational goals and performance KPIs. Overseeing daily supply chain operations, including purchasing, inventory management, vendor selection, and distribution of finished goods. Directing the Finance, IT, Audit, and Supply Chain teams and ensuring their ongoing professional development and training. Participating in key decisions as a member of the executive management team. Key Skills required for this role include strong analytical skills, strong leadership and organizational skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, excellent knowledge of data analysis, risk management, and forecasting methods, strong ethical standards, high levels of integrity, and driving cost efficiency through leveraging Information Technology, lean processes, and automation initiatives. Must be willing to work across organizational boundaries and all levels of the company to achieve business objectives. Qualifications: CA / MBA Finance with 15-20 years of Post Qualification Experience. Extensive experience in senior financial managerial roles, with a proven track record of success. Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software. Experience of handling more than finance function will be an added advantage.,
