Role & responsibilities

Financial Leadership & Strategic Planning

1. Provide strategic financial leadership and direction to the company.

2. Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives.

3. Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business goals.

4. Oversee the development and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) to track financial performance.

5. Participate in strategic planning initiatives, providing financial insights and recommendations.

6. Drive financial performance and identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.

Financial Reporting & Compliance

1. Ensure compliance with SOX requirements, if applicable.

2. Implement and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets.

3. Coordinate and manage external audits, ensuring compliance with audit standards.

4. Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.

5. Ensure compliance with all applicable financial regulations and reporting requirements.

6. Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements in accordance with GAAP, US GAAP & IFRS.

Cash Flow & Working Capital Management

1. Negotiate favorable financing terms and conditions.

2. Manage relationships with banks and other financial institutions.

3. Monitor and analyze cash flow trends, identifying potential risks and opportunities.

4. Develop and implement strategies to improve cash flow and working capital efficiency.

5. Oversee working capital management, optimizing inventory levels, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.

6. Manage the company's cash flow, ensuring adequate liquidity to meet operational needs.

Cost Accounting & API Manufacturing Finance

1. Ensure accurate inventory valuation and control.

2. Provide financial support to the manufacturing team, assisting with cost control and process improvement initiatives.

3. Manage the budgeting and forecasting process for manufacturing operations.

4. Analyze manufacturing costs, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.

5. Develop and implement cost accounting policies and procedures.

6. Oversee the cost accounting function, ensuring accurate costing of API manufacturing processes.

Export Finance & Risk Management

1. Ensure compliance with international trade regulations.

2. Monitor and analyze financial risk exposures, providing regular reports to senior management.

3. Identify and assess financial risks, developing strategies to mitigate those risks.

4. Develop and implement financial risk management policies and procedures.

5. Oversee the management of foreign exchange risk, implementing hedging strategies to mitigate currency fluctuations.

6. Manage export finance activities, ensuring compliance with export regulations and trade finance requirements.

Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and Due Diligence

1. Oversee the post-acquisition financial performance of acquired companies.

2. Manage the integration of acquired companies, ensuring a smooth transition of financial operations.

3. Assist with the negotiation of transaction terms and conditions.

4. Develop financial models to assess the financial viability of potential acquisitions.

5. Conduct financial due diligence on potential acquisition targets.

6. Participate in M&A activities, providing financial due diligence and valuation support.
