Role & responsibilities

Strategic Financial Leadership

• Serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and executive team.
• Develop financial strategies aligned with the companys goals.
• Provide data-driven insights to support key business decisions.
• Identify growth opportunities, cost optimization, and investment options.

Financial Operations & Reporting

• Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Budgeting & Forecasting

• Lead the annual budgeting process and regular reforecasting.
• Monitor performance against budget, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning.

Cash Flow & Capital Management

• Manage company cash flow to ensure operational efficiency.
• Oversee treasury functions, banking relationships, and debt financing.
• Ensure optimal capital structure and working capital management.

Risk Management & Compliance

• Identify and mitigate financial risks.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws, financial regulations, and corporate policies.
• Oversee external audits and manage relationships with auditors.

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead and mentor the finance and accounting teams.
• Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration.
• Develop talent and succession planning within the finance function.

Stakeholder Communication

• Present financial results and strategy to the board of directors, investors, and key stakeholders.
• Translate complex financial information into clear business terms for non-financial stakeholders.

Preferred candidate profile

MBA - Finance with 15 to 20 years of relevant exp with at least 5 years in leadership role
