We are a well-established, diversified textile corporate group with operations spanning spinning, weaving, processing, and garmenting.

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our finance function and support our continued growth and modernization.

Role Overview

The CFO will be responsible for providing financial leadership, driving business strategy, ensuring robust financial management, and building strong systems across the group companies. This role requires deep expertise in manufacturing finance, particularly in textile industry operations.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Strategy & Leadership

Develop and implement the financial strategy aligned with the companys long-term business goals.

Lead financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and cost optimization initiatives.

Advise the Board and senior leadership on financial insights, risks, and opportunities.

Accounts, Reporting & Compliance

Oversee end-to-end accounting, consolidation, and financial reporting for all group entities.

Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, audits, taxation (GST, Income Tax), and regulatory guidelines.

Manage relationships with auditors, banks, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies.

Costing & Manufacturing Finance

Drive robust cost control mechanisms across spinning, weaving, processing, and garment units.

Implement effective inventory management, production costing, and efficiency tracking systems.

Monitor working capital and optimize cash-flow operations across units.

Fund Management & Banking

Manage banking relationships, fundraising, and negotiations for working capital and term loans.

Evaluate CAPEX plans, project viability, and investment decisions.

Ensure efficient treasury management and risk mitigation.

Systems, Controls & Governance

Strengthen internal control frameworks, ERP systems, and financial SOPs.

Lead digital transformation initiatives in finance and support automation of processes.

Implement strong corporate governance practices.

Team Leadership

Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team across group companies.

Build organizational capability through continuous improvement and training.

Preferred Candidate Profile

1525 years of experience in finance, with at least 57 years in a senior leadership/CXO role.

Experience in Public Limited manufacturing preferred.

Strong exposure to ERP systems.

Based in or willing to relocate to Coimbatore.
