Chief Financial Officer

As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at our organization, your role will be crucial in leading the financial strategy and ensuring the company's financial stability and growth. Your responsibilities will include: - Completing financial reports, leading the month-end closing process, and conducting monthly financial forecasts. - Ensuring statutory compliance by monitoring financial details. - Preparing the annual budget and monitoring all costs and expenses to increase profitability. - Planning the company's financial future through short- and long-term plans and coordinating with top executives. - Conducting regular audits of expenditures, assets, and liabilities to maintain accurate financial records. - Designing, executing, and monitoring a robust financial control system. - Supervising, monitoring, and evaluating team performance. - Liaising with auditors to ensure proper financial monitoring. - Building relationships with stakeholders such as banks and stockholders. - Developing and implementing fundraising plans through various sources. - Acting as a single point of contact within departments and with bankers. - Participating in changes to procedures, policies, and systems. - Designing and maintaining a robust management information system. - Providing regular performance updates to the executive and senior leadership team. Your role will involve leading and working with a team, contributing to brainstorming sessions, establishing processes and systems, and ensuring timely and budget-friendly deliverables. The position will require a hands-on approach, so we are looking for someone willing to be actively involved in the day-to-day financial operations. Qualifications Required: - Chartered Accountant - 10 to 15 years of experience in a fast-growing environment, preferably in a consumer-facing industry. - Advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software, and databases. - Knowledge of CS. - Proven experience in fundraising, planning, and financial reporting.
