Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Chief Accountant role based in Pune at Alard University. The Chief Accountant will oversee financial operations, including general ledger maintenance, budget preparation, expense analysis, and financial reporting. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with accounting standards, managing audits, preparing tax filings, and supervising a team of accounting staff. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, and a strong focus on achieving financial accuracy and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• Strong accounting skills, including financial reporting, budgeting, and general ledger management
• Knowledge of tax regulations, audit processes, and compliance standards
• Proficiency in accounting software and tools, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Leadership and team management abilities, with prior experience in supervising accounting staff
