Key Responsibilities: 1. Financial Finalization & Reporting · Supervise and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with statutory requirements and internal deadlines. · Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data through meticulous review of journal entries, adjustments, and accruals. · Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) to senior leadership, offering clear analysis and insights. 2. Reconciliations & Controls · Oversee timely reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts, including bank, intercompany, vendor, and customer ledgers. · Investigate and resolve discrepancies to maintain clean and audit-ready accounts. · Implement and monitor robust internal control systems to mitigate financial risks. 3. Team Leadership · Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accountants, fostering a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement. · Assign responsibilities efficiently and ensure timely and accurate execution of all accounting functions. · Conduct regular performance evaluations and facilitate professional growth through training and feedback. 4. Budgeting & Forecasting · Assist in the formulation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts. · Monitor performance against budget, providing variance analysis and actionable recommendations for cost control and revenue optimization. 6. Process Improvement & Automation · Identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows and drive automation for enhanced accuracy and efficiency. · Lead or support implementation of accounting tools and ERP systems to scale finance operations effectively. 7. Requirements: · Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. · Minimum of 4 to ‘5 years of progressive experience in accounting, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role . · Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting frameworks. · Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally) and advanced Excel skills. · Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage complex reconciliations, and meet tight deadlines. · Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
