Job Summary - Head Chef Location: The Pink Falcon, MG Road, Gurgaon (On-site) Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent We are looking for an innovative and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen operations, design dynamic menus, and oversee culinary excellence. The role includes buffet and party catering management and a strong focus on client satisfaction during events and regular service. Responsibilities ● Design menus (snacks, quick bites, platters, desserts, buffets) aligned with the venue’s theme. ● Lead kitchen operations, ensuring timely and high-quality food service. ● Manage buffet and party catering, from planning to execution. ● Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness standards. ● Control food costs, monitor inventory, and coordinate with suppliers. ● Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff. ● Collaborate with service teams for seamless event and party execution. ● Engage with clients for menu customization and ensure satisfaction. ● Innovate recipes and maintain consistency across all dishes. Technical Skills ● Prior Experience of Cafe food menu - Pasta, Pizza, Sandwiches, Burgers, Wraps, starters ● Buffet setup & live kitchen management. ● Kitchen equipment handling (ovens, grills, fryers, mixers, etc.). ● Food plating, portion control & presentation. ● Recipe standardization & cost control. ● Inventory management & supplier coordination. ● Staff training & kitchen scheduling. Requirements ● Degree in professional cookery, culinary arts or related field/Hotel management graduate or diploma ● Extensive experience of working within a team in a commercial continental kitchen ● Knowledge and understanding of menu compilation, costing and sustainability Excellent communication skills both written and oral. ● Presentable and professional appearance and must be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines ● Strong problem-solving with guest-first mindset. ● Languages: Proficiency in Hindi and English (spoken & written). ● Food safety certification is a plus.
