Chartered Accountant

Purpose of Position: The Chartered Accountant will play a critical role in overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance. This position is pivotal for maintaining financial health, optimizing financial performance, and contributing to the company's long-term growth and sustainability. This also requires closures of critical issues in time bound manner.

Job description:

1. Financial Management and Reporting:

· Oversee the preparation of financial statements in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

· Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.

· Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts, providing variance analysis and insights.

· Monitor and control company expenditures to ensure alignment with budgets and financial plans.

2. Compliance and Audit:

· Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, including direct and indirect tax filings, GST, TDS, and other regulatory obligations.

· Coordinate internal and external audits, addressing any issues raised and implementing recommended improvements.

· Maintain proper documentation and records for all financial transactions to facilitate audits and compliance reviews.

4. Cash Flow Management:

· Manage cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs.

6. Financial Systems and Controls:

· Implement and maintain robust financial systems, processes and internal controls. Leverage technology and software solutions to enhance financial reporting and efficiency.

7. Any other responsibilities may be added as per reporting manager's requirements.

Financial Analysis & MIS:

· Prepare regular MIS reports including cash flow, profitability analysis, and project cost tracking.

· Support management with ad hoc financial analysis and decision-making tools.

Project Accounting:

· Manage project-wise costing, budgeting, and expenditure tracking.

· Evaluate cost-to-completion and monitor project profitability.

Key Requirements:

· Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) Mandatory

· Experience: 3–7 years post-qualification experience in accounting and finance roles.

Experience in Logistics or infrastructure industry is a strong plus
