Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy General Manager - Accounts

& Finance to lead and oversee critical financial operations at our Head Office in

Gurugram. The ideal candidate will be a qualified Chartered Accountant with a proven

track record of managing comprehensive accounting functions, ensuring regulatory

compliance, and providing strategic financial insights. This is a key leadership role

requiring strong analytical skills, business acumen, and the ability to effectively

collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Accounting & Reporting:
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of financial accounting, including

general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and

inventory.

  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual

financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards

and regulations.

  • Manage the audit process (statutory, internal, and tax audits) and ensure

timely resolution of audit findings.

  • Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company

assets and ensure data integrity.

  • Budgeting & Forecasting:
  • Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with various

departments to develop realistic and achievable budgets.

  • Prepare and analyze periodic financial forecasts, identifying variances

and providing insightful commentary.

  • Monitor budget performance against actual results and recommend

corrective actions as needed.

  • Taxation:
  • Ensure compliance with all direct and indirect tax laws and regulations.
  • Manage tax planning, return filing, and assessments.
  • Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and advise management on

potential impact.

  • Treasury Management:
  • Manage the company's cash flow, ensuring optimal liquidity and efficient

utilization of funds.

  • Maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions.
  • Oversee banking operations and ensure adherence to internal treasury

policies.

  • Financial Analysis & Decision Support:
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to provide insights into business

performance and identify areas for improvement.

  • Prepare financial models and projections to support strategic decision-

making.

  • Evaluate investment opportunities and provide financial

recommendations.

  • Team Leadership & Management:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the accounts and finance team.
  • Assign responsibilities, set performance objectives, and conduct

performance appraisals.

  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
  • Compliance & Governance:
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant accounting standards, legal regulations,

and company policies.

  • Stay abreast of changes in accounting and financial reporting standards.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of sound financial

policies and procedures.

  • Stakeholder Management:
  • Interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including

senior management, auditors, tax authorities, and banks.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) is mandatory for this role.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance

roles, with at least 3-4 years in a managerial capacity.

  • Strong understanding of Indian Accounting Standards and other relevant

accounting principles.

  • Proven experience in managing financial accounting, budgeting, taxation, and

treasury functions.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Tally) and MS Office Suite (especially

Excel).

  • Strong leadership, communication (both written and verbal), and interpersonal

skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of integrity and ethical conduct.
