Key Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
Prepare and file tax returns, ensure compliance with direct and indirect tax regulations, and provide tax-saving strategies.
Conduct internal and external audits, assess financial risks, and ensure controls are in place to mitigate them.
Develop annual budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections. Monitor performance against budget and report variances.
Ensure adherence to financial regulations, statutory laws, and industry-specific legislation.
Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions. Reconcile bank statements and maintain accounting records.
Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide insights for strategic decision-making.
Provide strategic guidance on mergers, acquisitions, investments, and risk management.
