Job Description

The Channel Account Manager (CAM) plays a crucial role in fostering and maintaining robust relationships with various channel partners such as resellers, distributors, and system integrators. Your primary objective will be to drive sales growth through indirect sales channels by empowering partners with effective training, support, and enablement programs. Responsibilities include identifying, onboarding, and managing relationships with different types of partners, including VARs and system integrators. You will be tasked with developing and executing partner enablement initiatives to enhance partner sales capabilities. As the primary contact for channel partners, it will be your responsibility to address and resolve any issues or escalations promptly. Your role will also involve driving revenue growth through channel partners by setting and achieving sales targets. Collaboration with partners to create joint business plans and go-to-market strategies will be essential. Additionally, identifying new sales opportunities within existing partnerships will be a key focus area. You will be responsible for providing continuous sales and technical training to partners to ensure a thorough understanding of the product portfolio. Developing marketing and sales collateral to support partners in their sales efforts will be crucial. Moreover, organizing webinars, workshops, and partner events to enhance engagement will be part of your responsibilities. Monitoring and analyzing partner performance metrics such as sales pipeline, revenue, and deal closures will be essential for tracking channel performance. Providing regular sales forecasts and reports to senior management will be required. You will also play a vital role in optimizing channel programs and incentive structures to drive partner motivation. Collaboration with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product teams, will be necessary to align strategies effectively. Your feedback from partners will be valuable in improving products, pricing, and market positioning. Furthermore, supporting partners in closing deals by assisting in joint sales calls, negotiations, and product demos will be part of your duties. Identifying new partner recruitment opportunities to expand the company's channel ecosystem will be crucial for market expansion. Additionally, staying updated on industry trends and competitor strategies to provide insights for business growth will be essential for success in this role.,
