Job Description

Job Title: CFS Operations Executive Department: Container Freight Station (CFS) Operations Reports To: CFS Manager / Documentation In-Charge Industry: Logistics / Port / Shipping / Supply Chain Experience Required: 2–5 years in CFS or similar logistics environment Education: Graduate (Preferred: Logistics or Supply Chain Management) Role Purpose: To ensure seamless execution of CFS operations by maintaining productivity and quality standards, coordinating with various internal and external stakeholders, and supporting compliance with health, safety, and security guidelines. Key Responsibilities: Operational Efficiency: Achieve targeted productivity and quality standards within the CFS. Co-ordinate with Documentation In-charge and contractors to align with daily operational goals. Record verified documents and update data accurately in the CFS software system. Customer & Vendor Management: Liaise with customer representatives to ensure service satisfaction and swift resolution of issues. Coordinate with nominated vendors to ensure timely and quality service delivery. Relay carting, export/import IN/OUT movement details to field supervisors for smooth operations. Compliance & Safety: Ensure strict adherence to safety procedures and standard operating protocols (SOPs) and risk assessments (RA’s). Comply with MICT’s Quality, Health, Safety, Environmental, and Supply Chain Security Management Systems. Communication & Reporting: Conduct daily Toolbox Talks (TBT) with relevant vendors at the gate to reinforce operational and safety expectations. Provide support to the documentation team as instructed by the In-charge. Timely escalation of any operational deviations or safety issues. Required Skills & Competencies: Strong understanding of CFS operations and logistics workflows Basic knowledge of export/import procedures Familiarity with documentation and port/CFS software Good communication and coordination skills Attention to detail and adherence to compliance Team player with a proactive attitude Basic IT literacy (MS Office, TMS/WMS systems preferred) Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):Productivity vs. target metrics Accuracy in documentation and data entry Compliance with safety and operational SOPs Customer satisfaction scores Timely communication and coordination with stakeholders
