CFS Operations Executive

Job Title: CFS Operations Executive (Export/Import Documentation & Coordination)Department: CFS Operations / Logistics Experience Required: [Insert experience range, e.g., 2–5 years] Reporting To: Operations Manager / CFS In-Charge Job Purpose:To manage and coordinate end-to-end documentation and operations related to container stuffing/destuffing, import/export cargo handling, and compliance with safety and quality standards at the Container Freight Station (CFS). This role ensures seamless operational execution through effective communication, documentation verification, and real-time coordination with customers, contractors, and field teams. Key Responsibilities:Coordinate export stuffing, import de-stuffing, container IN/OUT movements, and import examination processes. Achieve targeted CFS productivity and ensure adherence to quality standards. Liaise with customer representatives to deliver a high level of customer satisfaction. Ensure strict compliance with safety precautions, SOPs, and risk assessments (RA). Collaborate with Documentation In-Charge and contractors to meet team targets. Attend the documentation counter, verifying CHA-submitted documents for stuffing/destuffing and cargo delivery. Record verified documents and update CFS software systems accurately. Relay real-time updates to Field Supervisors regarding carting, stuffing, de-stuffing, and cargo movements. Ensure job order generation for each activity and its timely routing to operational staff or surveyors. Update pre-advice details for export laden containers with respective terminals. Handle IGM / IAL updates in CFS MAG for both laden and empty en-block containers. Adhere to and promote Quality, Health, Safety, Environment (QHSE) and supply chain security guidelines. Desired Candidate Profile:Graduate or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field 2–5 years of experience in CFS / Port / Shipping Line / CHA operations preferred Good understanding of customs procedures, EXIM documentation, and container handling protocols Proficiency in CFS software tools, MS Office, and ERP systems Strong coordination and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced and compliance-driven environment
