Job Description

Roles and Responsibility:

We are looking for a Category Manager for the Staples category to drive vendor management, purchasing, inventory planning, and category growth for our B&M business.

Key Responsibilities:

Vendor Management:
Handle vendor onboarding, negotiations, assortment planning, fill rate improvement, and forecasting.
PO Management:
Ensure timely PO creation and follow-ups for on-time delivery.
Data Analysis:
Monitor availability and performance across dark stores and DCs; drive corrective actions.
Business Acumen:
Understand Quick Commerce operations, market trends, pricing, and customer behavior.
Tools:
Strong knowledge of MS Excel & Google Sheets for reporting and planning.

Requirements:

Graduate/Postgraduate with 36 years of experience in Category Management/B&M/FMCG. (STAPLES)
Strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills.
Understanding of supply chain, demand planning, and quick commerce workflows.
