Job Description

Role - Sarees Buyer - Hyderabad

Responsibilities

Product Sourcing & Selection:

Research and identify new and emerging trends in saree fashion, fabric, colors, and designs.
Source sarees from various suppliers and manufacturers, ensuring high quality and competitive pricing.
Evaluate fabric quality, workmanship, and supplier reliability to ensure products meet brand standards.
Maintain a deep understanding of market trends and customer preferences to influence purchasing decisions.
Vendor Management & Negotiation:
Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and manufacturers.
Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules to secure the best deals for the company.
Monitor supplier performance to ensure timely deliveries and quality standards.
Inventory Management:
Work closely with the merchandising and planning teams to ensure stock levels meet demand without overstocking.
Collaborate on sales forecasting and trend analysis to anticipate customer demand and make informed purchasing decisions.
Trend Analysis & Reporting:
Monitor market trends and competitors to ensure the brand is offering relevant and innovative products.
Prepare reports on product performance, sales trends, and inventory needs.

Quality Control:
Ensure that all sarees purchased adhere to quality control standards and align with the companys brand image.
Address any issues related to product defects or inconsistencies, working with suppliers to resolve them promptly.
