-Achieve cost savings through effective negotiation, supplier development, and zero-based costing initiatives.
-Monitor commodity price trends and implement forward contracts to minimize price volatility impact.
-Control procurement budget and ensure adherence to cost targets for raw materials.
-Drive working capital optimization by managing payment terms, inventory levels, and credit cycles.
-Ensure timely purchase order release, tracking, and execution to meet production schedules.
-Implement vendor rating system based on delivery, quality, and cost competitiveness.
-Drive digital procurement processes (SAP/ERP) for efficiency and data accuracy.
-Coordinate with logistics for smooth inward movement, custom clearance (if imported), and warehouse stocking.
- Ensure uninterrupted supply of quality raw materials to Production, avoiding line stoppages.
-Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Design teams to align purchase execution with manufacturing needs.
-Maintain strong relationships with strategic suppliers and ensure vendor performance on cost, quality, and delivery.
-Provide transparent and timely communication to internal stakeholders on raw material availability and risks.
