As a Capital Markets Operations New Associate at Accenture, you will be part of the Investment Compliance team responsible for ensuring compliance with various regulatory, client-directed, and internal investment restrictions for portfolios managed by the client. Your role will involve on-boarding new accounts, overseeing amendments to existing accounts, and programming restrictions into the Charles River compliance monitoring system. **Key Responsibilities:** - New account on-boarding, amendments to existing client documentation, and coding using CRD - Liaising with client operations and/or product on new accounts or changes for existing clients to provide compliance feedback, manage priorities, and meet inception deadlines - Reviewing investment restrictions in proposed new account documentation and guideline amendment language to ensure the ability to code the compliance system and clarify intent if necessary - Programming logic-based rules in CRD to effectively monitor client and regulatory requirements - Collaborating with investment staff to ensure rule coding aligns with client/regulatory requirements and investment strategy - Performing quality assurance testing and review of rules programmed by other team members - Evaluating compliance system functionality and available data elements to capture restrictions in compliance systems - Providing coding solutions and alternatives to capture complex requirements - Assessing impacts of code changes and testing restrictions to ensure functionality as intended - Escalating operational roadblocks or risks in new client requirements to management **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience - 2-4 years of total relevant work experience - Experience with Trading/IBOR/OMS systems, specifically with knowledge of Charles River Compliance System (CRD) or comparable compliance platform - Practical understanding of investment security types (e.g. stocks, bonds, derivatives) - Proven analytical skills within investment compliance or a related field - Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality - Strong customer service orientation - Strong interpersonal skills with effective written and oral communications - Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic environment with evolving priorities - Strong organizational skills and proficient in handling multiple tasks simultaneously - Strong research and problem-solving skills As a member of the Investment Compliance team at Accenture, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with various requirements while contributing to projects assigned by the Investment Compliance leadership team.
