Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a Microsoft SQL Server Database Administrator or a similar role. Strong understanding of database management concepts, including normalization, indexing, and transaction management. Proficiency in SQL query language and experience with performance tuning techniques. Familiarity with database security best practices and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA). Hands-on experience with database backup and recovery solutions (e.g., SQL Server Backup, Veeam Backup & Replication).
