Role Description

Southern Lubrication Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Buyer for a full-time, on-site position located in Bengaluru. The Buyer is responsible for managing a specific group of suppliers essential to the manufacturing process by negotiating prices and contracts, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining strong supplier relationships to support production goals. The buyer will collaborate internally with other teams, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and contribute to the successful execution of projects.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in procurement, vendor management, or sourcing technical parts.
• Experience working in manufacturing, especially in industrial equipment or system manufacturing.
• Strong skills in negotiation and analysis with a proven ability to reduce costs.
• Communicates proactively and follows up regularly with suppliers to ensure on time delivery.
• Willing to travel when needed to speed up deliveries if suppliers face delays.
• Knowledge of how to evaluate vendors and manage contracts effectively.
• Excellent communication, time management, and organisation skills.
• Detail-focused and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
