Job Purpose Looking to hire Strategy research analyst to be part of Research Services team of a bulge bracket investment bank based out of, Bangalore. Successful candidate will be responsible for strategy research, quantitative modelling, portfolio building, database management, thematic presentations, as well as handle numerous one-off client and team requests. You will be part of the European analyst team and interact with the relevant teams in clients global offices. Key Responsibilities • Build databases for tracking of multiple sector and country performance • Build screeners for identifying attractive companies and creating portfolio baskets • Analyze various factors to arrive at sector allocation strategies • Analyzing trends in various macro-economic factors and arriving at allocation strategies • Thematic research using Top-down and Bottom-up approaches • Build and maintain quantitative models using statistical models including regression analysis Job Requirements Qualification • Bachelor's or Masters degree with a major in finance / economics / statistics • Candidates with a relevant qualification (CFA or CA or MBA Finance) will be preferred Experience • 3+ years of experience in strategy research • Strong macroeconomics, financial ratios etc • Ability to work independently • Eye for detail and ability to identify and solve issues effectively and on time • Strong Excel & PPT skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • High level of independent thinking and approach • Knowledge of database tools Datastream, Reuters and Bloomberg. • Knowledge about asset classes Equity, Credit, Fx, Commodities or rate
