The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving growth for the company’s digital marketing services by identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and closing deals. The role focuses on expanding the client base, understanding market trends, and supporting the sales pipeline with strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identifies potential clients and generates leads through cold calling, networking, and online research.
  • Explains and promotes the company’s digital marketing services such as SEO, social media marketing, PPC, website development, content marketing, and branding.
  • Builds and maintains strong client relationships to ensure long-term business growth.
  • Prepares and presents sales pitches, proposals, and presentations to prospective clients.
  • Collaborates with the internal marketing and operations teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Maintains a sales pipeline and updates daily/weekly reports.
  • Negotiates contracts and closes deals to meet monthly and quarterly targets.
  • Stays updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and new technologies in digital marketing.
  • Participates in client meetings, events, and promotional activities when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the digital marketing industry.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing concepts and services.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage targets and work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and online lead-generation platforms.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in an agency environment.
  • Knowledge of lead-generation tools like LinkedIn, Upwork, or email marketing platforms.
