Job Purpose:

Business Process Manager will be responsible for optimizing and managing business processes within the container terminal operations. This role involves analyzing existing processes, developing process improvement strategies, and ensuring that all operations align with the company’s strategic goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, process re-engineering, and project management within the port or shipping industry

Responsibilities

Process Analysis and Improvement:

Analyze existing operational processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.

Documentation And Standardization

Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of all business processes.

Performance Monitoring

Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of business processes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with various departments to ensure alignment of processes and objectives.

Change Management

Lead change management initiatives to ensure smooth implementation of new processes and systems.

Regulatory Compliance

Ensure all operational processes adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Risk Management

Identify, assess, and prioritize potential risks that could impact terminal operations and safety.

Digital Mindset

Champions a digital mindset within the organization to drive innovation and competitiveness. Keep up with digital and AI advancements to enhance business and maintain competitiveness.

Qualifications

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management,

Work Experience

8-12 years of experience in yard operations or supervision within the port industry.
