Job Description

The Business Partner plays a critical role in enabling strategic alignment between KBS and its business units, ensuring high-quality service delivery, stakeholder satisfaction, and continuous improvement. This role acts as a key liaison between KBS operational teams and frontline/area leadership, driving collaboration, resolving escalations, and supporting transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled professional with a strong background in stakeholder management, project leadership, and a proven ability to drive results in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Business Development:

  • Work with leadership to define and execute the business partnership strategy.
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing partnerships and create new collaborations that align with the company's strategic goals.
  • Analyze market trends and partner performance data to inform business decisions and optimize partnership outcomes.

Communication & Collaboration:

  • Facilitate clear, concise, and timely communication between all stakeholders, including senior leadership, technical teams, legal, and marketing.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, reports, and updates on project status and partner performance.
  • Translate technical and business requirements into a clear, actionable plan for various audiences.
  • Champion a collaborative and transparent working culture across all teams involved in partnership projects.

Stakeholder Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with frontline units, area controllers, and functional leads. Act as a trusted advisor, proactively identifying business needs and aligning KBS capabilities to meet them.
  • Facilitate periodic business partnering calls and governance meetings, ensuring alignment on priorities, performance and identify new opportunities for collaboration.
  • Monitor and manage stakeholder escalations, ensuring timely resolution and communication of root cause analyses (RCA) in collaboration with Quality teams

Project Management

  • Support and lead strategic initiatives such as automation, digitalization, and process simplification across functions (e.g., R2R, S2P, S2C) contributing to KONE strategy and achieving KBS targets
  • Overseeing end to end of new intakes from interest from units to successful transition, timely billing to units, and stable operation communication to business
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver success stories and showcase impact through Lean UX and capability uplift programs
  • Track and report on project milestones, risks, and outcomes using executive dashboards and traffic light indicators. Utilize project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) to ensure efficient and effective project delivery

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in years of experience in a business development, partnership management, or project management role
  • Experience in shared services or global business services (GBS) environments
  • Familiarity with tools like ServiceNow, Power BI, and automation platforms
  • Strong experience on preparation of executive presentations
  • Exposure to finance processes (R2R, S2P, S2C) and operational governance
