Role Description
The Business Management Associate focuses on supporting activities around business management, and ensure the delivery of other Business Management team members’ responsibilities. Business management Associate will play a crucial role in the overall enablement by partnering with our internal and external stakeholders within and outside DWS.BM Associate will become part of a dedicated team that looks after a wide spectrum of topics, while also addressing several queries for DWS Operations team globally.This would also mean partnering with management team to support with Ops strategy, projects, and topics related to global initiatives, headcount management, location strategy, site level initiatives etc.Business management Associate will also help maintain the overall risk and control health of the Ops globally and extend support in risk mitigation, transformation, and overall enablement.

Your key responsibilities
Work with Business Management team to work on tasks assignedWork with regional business heads on topics ranging from headcount management, location strategy, infrastructure management, site level initiativesPartner with local second line functions i.e., COO, EUC, Finance, Compliance, GRE, Corporate security, Tax, HR, Vendor management and Legal. Assist with escalations from any of the second line functionsMaintain the Headcount census at various regional and functional level, maintain clear cost allocation across region and work with finance team to ensure consensusSupport with the governance of Intra-group contracts between suppler and provider entitiesAssist in strategic franchise-level projects aimed at resources rationalization, transformation, and cost-savingsAssist in senior leadership meetings / Board meetings / Franchise level meeting presentations and data management.Assist in managing the regional/local requirements around space planning and other local considerationsAssist in senior leadership meetings presentations and be the single point of contact in data managementCoordination for strategies/information with functional and business management teams at regional and global levelsAssist in flight/hotel booking for country management/senior leadership
Your skills and experience
10+ years of overall work experience with 5+ years in relevant business management / COO / CAO / Risk & Control/ or Audit areaStrong knowledge / experience of business management functionsProficient in MS office with specific concentration on MS Excel & PowerPoint
Exposure in driving projects with diverse stakeholders, experience in influencing teams, creating a shared sense of purpose, and working towards resolution of gaps/ issues is necessary.Strong written and verbal communication skillsStrong analytical abilities and displays a high degree of control awareness, attention to detail and focuses on providing quality outputHigh-Level understanding of Asset Management would be an advantage
