Business Finance Controller

Role Overview: As the Business Finance Controller at our leading automotive catalyst and particulate filters manufacturing company, your mission will be to take ownership of our financial management and GST compliance. You will be responsible for accurate reporting, tax compliance, and providing insightful financial analysis to drive strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare monthly financial statements and reports. - Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support management decisions. - Control inventories to ensure operational efficiency. - Ensure full compliance with tax laws, including GST filings, reconciliations, and audits. - Advise management on GST planning and regulatory changes affecting business operations. - Implement internal controls to safeguard assets and financial integrity. - Utilize ERP systems (IZARO and Tally), BI tools, and Excel for seamless financial processes. - Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing GST compliance training. - Support profitability analysis, cost control initiatives, and tax-efficient business planning. - Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants on statutory requirements. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in Economics / Accountancy. - Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification. - Certified GST Practitioner (highly desirable). - Strong experience with IFRS standards. - Proficiency in ERP systems, BI tools, and advanced Excel. - Fluency in English; knowledge of Spanish is a plus. - Must reside in Tamil Nadu or nearby areas (+/- 40 km).
