About the Role

Business Development Manager (Individual Contributor)

This role demands hands-on execution, prospecting, engaging clients, driving solution discussions, and independently closing deals across APAC and EMEA markets.

Key Responsibilities

New Business Development

  • Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities in Dynamics 365, Cloud, and Managed Services.
  • Build your own sales pipeline through networking, referrals, prospecting, and industry engagement.
  • Qualify leads and initiate direct conversations with decision-makers.

Client Engagement

  • Conduct discovery calls with CXOs, IT Leadership, and functional stakeholders.
  • Understand client challenges in ERP /CRM modernization, cloud migration, and digital transformation.
  • Position solutions effectively based on business pain points and technical requirements.

Solution Sales & Deal Closure

  • Work with pre-sales to create proposals, SOWs, estimations, and solution decks.
  • Deliver presentations, demos (with pre-sales support), and capability walkthroughs.
  • Negotiate commercials and close deals independently.

Account Management

  • Maintain long-term relationships with acquired customers.
  • Identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities across Dynamics 365, Cloud, and IT services.
  • Ensure seamless handover to delivery and monitor customer satisfaction.

Microsoft Ecosystem Engagement

  • Collaborate with Microsoft partner teams (PDMs, CSPs, ISVs) for joint GTM and co-selling.
  • Track opportunities available through Microsoft incentive programs and marketplace.

Sales Reporting & Targets

  • Own and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
  • Maintain accurate opportunity tracking in CRM.
  • Provide daily, and weekly updates on pipeline, forecasts, and progress.

Candidate Profile

Mandatory Skills

  • Strong background in

    selling Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Applications & Solutions (ERP and CRM), Power Platform, Cloud and IT Infrastructure Services.

  • Proven ability to generate pipeline and independently close deals.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Comfortable working with enterprise buyers and long sales cycles.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience selling in APAC and EMEA.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Partner models, incentives, and co-sell programs.
  • Understanding of solution scoping, SOWs, and project estimation.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Pipeline creation and quality.
  • Number of qualified opportunities generated.
  • Deal closures and revenue achievement.
  • Sales cycle efficiency & win ratio.
  • Customer retention and expansion opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on B2B IT sales experience.
