Job Description

We are a dynamic and fast-growing startup that focuses on enabling organisations on managing, comprehending, and acting on their data. We provide services in Data & AI. As a Business Development Specialist, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business requirements and technical execution by designing, implementing, and maintaining data analytics and tracking solutions. You will collaborate with various teams, including data analysts, product managers, developers, and stakeholders, to ensure accurate and insightful data collection, reporting, and analysis.

Responsibilities

:
  • Build the DataSlush brand & presence on Internet
  • Building Prospect pipelines & work with founders directly to close the deals
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the IT consulting and services industry.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients by researching and targeting key sectors, organizations, and decision-makers.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, new businesses or new services, competitor activities, and potential areas for business growth.
  • Develop and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate and close sales contracts, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions and deliverables to meet client requirements.
  • Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and drive additional business opportunities.
  • Meet and exceed assigned sales targets and objectives.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and analyses to track performance and provide insights to the management team.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitive activities to identify new business opportunities and improve the organisations offerings.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking events to build brand awareness and expand professional networks.
Qualifications:
  • B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science / Engineering / IT
  • Bachelors degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
  • Industry Knowledge (IT Preferred)
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Business Development in the IT consulting and services industry, with a minimum of 4 - 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong knowledge of IT consulting and services, including data analytics, machine learning, cloud solutions, data analytics, and project management.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software (Zoho / Hubspot is a plus) and other sales tools.
  • Open to domestic and international travel for client meetings at least 7-10 days a month.
  • Experience of selling in different geographical markets - mainly Europe, North America, and India
