Location: Goregaon, Mumbai (Full-Time) Joining Date: Immediate or as mutually agreed Compensation: Fixed salary + annual performance bonus (up to X months' salary based on company and individual performance) Salary: Commensurate with experience, open for discussion. Business Development Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand the client base and revenue streams for the production house. Strategize and implement plans to enhance the company’s market reach, targeting potential clients, agencies, and emerging markets. Coordinate and schedule meetings and calls with potential clients and agencies, fostering relationships and exploring business opportunities. Attend industry events, award functions, seminars, and networking forums to build connections and promote the company. Regularly update and maintain client & agency databases to ensure accurate and up-to-date information for business development and relationship management. Ensure client or agency briefs are clearly communicated to the production team, followed by timely responses to clients. Obtain competitive quotes from creative collaborators (e.g., Directors, Photographers, DoPs etc.) during the pitching stage. Oversee the creation of Treatment Notes, Script Decks, and other materials to ensure high-quality project pitches within deadlines. Facilitate seamless communication among stakeholders, ensuring efficient project management, particularly during the pre-greenlight stage. Collaborate with creative and production teams to develop accurate budgets for project pitching and execution. Prepare detailed proposals to support business development efforts and secure new opportunities. Develop and implement social media strategies to promote completed projects, engage audiences, and enhance the company’s online presence in line with marketing objectives. Manage WhatsApp broadcasts and email marketing campaigns via newsletters to keep clients and stakeholders informed and engaged. Additional Responsibilities: Stay informed on the latest industry trends, advertising campaigns, and competitor activities to guide business development strategies, Oversee corporate gifting initiatives, including vendor research, order management, and ensuring timely delivery to clients and partners. Maintain a comprehensive database of freelance creative collaborators to support partnerships and assist in the development of pitches. QUALIFICATIONS: Education: A degree in Business Development, Sales or Marketing, Advertising or Media Production, or a related field (postgraduate preferred). Experience: 1-3 years in a Business Development role within a film production house, video production company, or advertising agency. Skills: Client Relationship: Ability to forge powerful connections with brands and agencies on the back of our strong video production expertise to secure business Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with expertise in professional interactions via E-mail, WhatsApp, phone calls, and in-person meetings. Strong client relationship management and servicing abilities. Familiarity with creative and production processes in advertising. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Passion for storytelling and creating impactful content. Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of spreadsheets and presentation tools (e.g., Canva, Google Sheets, PowerPoint, etc.). Familiarity with AI tools / software, Photoshop is a plus. PROBATION PERIOD: The position includes a probation period of 3 months. During this period, the company will assess the candidate's ability to execute the responsibilities required for the role and evaluate their fit within the company culture. Similarly, the candidate may also use this time to assess whether the role aligns with their long-term objectives and vision.
