About the Role

Business Development Representative (BDR)

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and generate leads through outbound calling, emailing, LinkedIn outreach, and networking.
  • Understand client requirements and pitch relevant products/services.
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to create effective strategies.
  • Qualify leads and schedule meetings/demos for the sales team.
  • Maintain and update CRM with accurate lead and client information.
  • Prepare proposals, presentations, and follow-ups with potential clients.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships for long-term business.
  • Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets.
  • Participate in client calls, virtual meetings, and face-to-face discussions when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelors/Masters degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3 - 6 years of experience

    as a BDR / Business Development Executive.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills (both verbal & written).
  • Proven experience in lead generation and client onboarding.
  • Experience in

    IT / SaaS / Digital Services / Consulting sector

    preferred.
  • Proficiency in using

    CRM tools (HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce, etc.)

    .
  • Ability to create proposals and sales presentations.
  • Target-oriented mindset with strong analytical skills.
  • Relationship-building and client-handling skills.
