Job Title: Business Sales Officer

Department: Sales & Marketing

Reports To: Sales Manager / Area Sales Manager

Location: Delhi Ncr

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary:

The Sales Officer is responsible for generating sales, building strong customer relationships, and achieving revenue targets. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, promoting company products/services, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Identify new markets and business opportunities to expand customer base.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitor activities.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to clients.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with customers.
  • Follow up on leads, inquiries, and after-sales support to ensure customer retention.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales, customer interactions, and daily activities in CRM or reports.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (marketing, logistics, finance) to ensure smooth order processing and customer satisfaction.
  • Attend sales meetings, trainings, and promotional events as required.

  • Target-driven and self-motivated.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Experience:

  • Experience: 1–3 years of sales experience (FMCG, Banking, Real Estate, or relevant industry preferred).
  • Language: Proficiency in local language. Good comminication.
  • Driving License: (if applicable) – valid two/four-wheeler license.

  • Achievement of sales targets and growth objectives.
  • Customer acquisition and retention rate.
  • Quality of client relationships and satisfaction.
  • Accuracy and timeliness of reports and documentation.
