Position Overview:

The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving the growth of the franchise network by identifying and onboarding new franchisees, managing operations of new franchises center, and implementing marketing strategies to ensure franchisees run profitable businesses. This role involves sales expertise, relationship management, and operational excellence to align franchisee success with the organization's overall goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Franchise Expansion:

Market Research & Analysis:

  • Identify potential markets for franchise expansion.
  • Conduct City Analysis , feasibility studies and competitor analysis to support expansion decisions.

Franchise Recruitment:

  • Develop and execute lead generation strategies for attracting potential franchise partners.
  • Engage with potential franchisees to explain the franchise model, benefits, and requirements.
  • Evaluate franchise applicants based on financial and operational criteria.
  • Evaluate and onboard franchisees, ensuring alignment with the company’s values and vision..

Operations Management

Franchisee Support:

  • Regularly visit franchise centre to provide operational and marketing support, helping new franchisees optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Monitor compliance with brand standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Act as a liaison between the corporate office and franchise partners.

Performance Tracking:

  • Analyze franchise key performance indicators (KPIs), identify areas for improvement, and provide solutions.
  • Track the operational efficiency and performance of franchisees.
  • Develop action plans to address underperforming franchises.

Profitability & Sustainability:

  • Conduct financial performance reviews to ensure franchises run profitable businesses.
  • Collaborate with franchisees to implement strategies that enhance profitability.
  • Provide recommendations and assistance to franchisees for cost optimization and revenue growth.
  • Ensure alignment of franchise operations with the company's financial goals.

Relationship Management:

  • Build strong relationships with franchisees to maintain trust and alignment with company goals.
  • Address franchisee concerns and provide timely resolutions to operational or marketing challenges.

Qualifications & Skills:

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is preferred.

Experience:

  • 5 to 7+ years of experience in franchise expansion and management and business development.

  • Strong understanding of franchise models and operational frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.

  • Profitability and operational efficiency of new franchises.

Successful execution of marketing campaigns and their ROI.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
