Role Overview

We are looking for a Business Development Manager who understands the Calicut market deeply and can take full ownership of our operations in the region. This is a leadership role that combines business development with operational management, ideal for a proactive, results-oriented professional ready to drive growth in a key location.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage SpiderWorks’ Calicut operations independently
• Identify and pursue business opportunities in the local market
• Build and maintain strong client and partner relationships
• Develop and execute growth strategies for the Calicut region
• Conduct market and competitor research to guide decision-making
• Represent SpiderWorks in local industry events and business forums
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction
• Track and report on business performance and regional KPIs

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in digital marketing or IT services
• Strong understanding of the Calicut market and local business ecosystem
• Proven leadership experience in managing regional operations or teams
• Excellent communication, negotiation and client engagement skills
• Strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
• Experience with CRM tools and business reporting is an advantage
