Business Development Manager

Job Overview:

SP Transaction Hub Technology Private Limited is seeking a proactive and experienced *Business Development Manager* (BDM) with a specialisation in Product Development & Banking Partnerships. This role is ideal for someone with strong domain knowledge of banking APIs, payment gateways, and financial integrations. You will lead initiatives to build strategic alliances with banks and financial institutions, drive product innovation, and ensure seamless integration of banking services into our platform.

*Key Responsibilities* :

Lead the product development and lifecycle management for fintech banking solutions.

Build and nurture strong partnerships with banks, NBFCs, and financial API providers.

Act as the primary liaison between SP Transaction Hub and banking partners.

Drive acquisition and onboarding of banking APIs (UPI, payout, collections, VPA, virtual accounts, etc.).

Collaborate closely with product, compliance, and tech teams to ensure smooth API integration and product rollout.

Monitor product performance, collect feedback, and implement improvements.

Negotiate contracts, commercials, and SLA terms with financial partners.

Stay abreast of regulatory changes, RBI guidelines, and industry trends related to digital payments and banking technologies.

Represent the company at industry events, partner meetings, and fintech conferences.

*Requirements* :

Proven experience in business development, product management, or relationship management in fintech, banking, or payments domain.

Strong understanding of digital banking APIs, UPI infrastructure, and payment gateway solutions.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to engage and influence CXO-level executives in partner organizations.

Familiarity with regulatory compliance, RBI norms, and digital transaction systems.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or Technology (MBA preferred).
