Experience: Minimum 2+ years in international business development, sales, or client acquisition (Accounting, Outsourcing, or BPO industry preferred).
We are a fast-growing offshore accounting solutions provider serving clients across Australia, USA, New Zealand, and Canada. Our mission is to help businesses streamline financial operations, reduce costs, and focus on growth while we manage their accounting, bookkeeping, and compliance needs.
We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager who can generate new leads, drive international sales, and build long-term client relationships. The role will also closely support the Director in growth initiatives and partnership development.
* Lead Generation & Client Outreach
* Identify, research, and qualify prospects across CPA firms, CAANZ firms, Enrolled Agents, SMEs, and related networks.
* Generate leads through cold calling, cold email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, Upwork bidding, and other freelance/sales platforms.
* Manage and grow the Director’s LinkedIn account by identifying prospects, initiating connections, and running outreach campaigns.
* Support the Director with client presentations, case studies, proposals, and timely follow-ups.
* Business Development & Partnerships
* Conduct initial discovery calls to understand client needs and propose tailored solutions.
* Work with internal teams to design customized service offerings and engagement models.
* Explore partnerships with accounting associations, consultants, and referral networks.
* Research and recommend industry events, conferences, and sponsorship opportunities for market visibility.
* Track competitor activity and industry trends to sharpen positioning and identify growth opportunities.
* Relationship Building & Client Success
* Build strong, trust-based relationships with international clients (primarily in Australia, USA, New Zealand, and Canada).
* Ensure smooth handover of new clients to delivery teams after onboarding.
* Maintain ongoing client engagement to drive retention, upsell opportunities, and repeat business.
* Experience: Minimum 2 years in business development or sales for outsourcing, accounting, or professional services firms.
* Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal English communication; strong presentation and persuasion abilities.
* Sales Tools Knowledge: Experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Upwork, CRM systems, and email automation tools.
* Market Understanding: Exposure to international clients, especially in accounting/tax outsourcing, preferred.
