Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in India (Hyderabad) and spearhead our client acquisition efforts in the US market. This role combines strategic business development with hands-on sales development representative (SDR) activities, focusing on demand generation for our AI and software engineering services. You will work closely with our technical delivery teams to ensure seamless coordination from lead generation to project fulfilment.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, research, and target potential enterprise clients in the US market seeking AI transformation and platform development solutions.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to expand NStarX's client base in AI and software engineering services.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects across industries undergoing digital transformation.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging AI adoption trends and enterprise technology needs.
  • Represent NStarX at virtual industry events, AI conferences, and technology networking sessions.
  • Generate high-quality leads through cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and other prospecting methods.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads to determine fit and potential value.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings between prospects and senior leadership.
  • Maintain accurate records of all prospecting activities and lead interactions in CRM.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly lead generation and conversion targets.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of business development, sales, or client acquisition experience in technology/software services.
  • Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably in AI, software development, or enterprise technology solutions.
  • Experience selling complex technical solutions to enterprise clients.
  • Experience working with US clients or the US technology market is preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in lead generation and technical sales pipeline management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong prospecting and cold calling abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).
  • Advanced LinkedIn Sales Navigator and social selling skills.
  • Data-driven approach with strong analytical capabilities.
  • Negotiation and closing skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • Experience with AI/ML solutions, platform development, or enterprise software sales.
  • Previous experience in technology consulting or systems integration sales.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and enterprise architecture.
  • Certification in sales methodologies (SPIN, Challenger, etc. ) or technical certifications.
