We are looking for a Business Development Manager (BDM) to work closely with our Client Engagement team with an aim to generate leads, understand client needs and provide valuable insights and strategic recommendations for successful market entry.
As a BDM, you will be responsible for client acquisition, managing strategic consulting projects from inception to completion. You will collaborate with clients, develop project strategies, and assist project team to deliver exceptional results. Your role will involve working closely with senior stakeholders, analyzing complex business challenges, and providing actionable recommendations. The successful execution of projects will require strong project management skills, deep business acumen, and the ability to navigate and influence in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
T&A Consulting is a specialist market entry and investment promotion advisory firm, assisting international economic development agencies (EDAs), overseas enterprises, and government organizations attracting investments from India. We are trusted by over 30 international EDAs to identify and engage with Indian companies for cross-border investment promotion, trade facilitation, and international market expansion across diverse geographies including Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Identify new business opportunity and write winning proposals.
· Develop comprehensive project plans, including objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation.
· Assist project teams, ensuring effective coordination, communication, and alignment of efforts.
· Monitor project progress, identify, and mitigate risks, and manage changes to scope, budget, and timeline.
· Ensure project deliverables, meet quality standards and client expectations.
· Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
· Understand client needs, business goals, and industry dynamics to provide valuable insights and strategic recommendations.
· Conduct client interviews, workshops, and presentations to gather information, share progress, and seek feedback.
· Manage client expectations, resolve conflicts, and proactively address any issues that may arise during the project.
· Conduct thorough research and analysis of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes.
· Evaluate clients' business models, identify growth opportunities, and assess risks and challenges.
· Prepare winning proposals for lead generation.
· Use data-driven insights to develop innovative strategies and recommend actionable solutions.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop implementation plans and drive organizational change
Minimum 3 - 5 years in a Business Consulting/Research/Client Engagement Environment
Experience of developing new business & generating leads.
Experience of writing consulting proposals
Exposure of handling international clients is a must.
