ROLE OF THE POSITION Researching, planning, and implementing new target market initiatives Build positive relationships with internal and external groups to support the development of business activities. Generate and qualify leads, engaging with potential audience through various channels. Develop and implement strategies to support and further the growth Setting goals for the business development team and Target the right audience. Organise Seminars and build strong relationships at educational institutions Understanding an enquiry management; create and manage follow up systems. Provide reports on activities in a detailed and timely manner. Ensure that all business development activities comply with KC Policies and procedures. KEY SELECTION CRITERIA Appropriate experience in business development in an education setting or relevant area. Demonstrated excellent organizational and problem solving skills illustrated by the ability to work with minimal supervision, to be creative and, successfully arrange priorities, meet deadlines and continually improve operational strategies. Highly-developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; ability to be professional, tactful, discrete and courteous at all times. Demonstrated ability to initiate new business opportunities and capacity to build and maintain effective and productive relationships with a wide range of groups within, and external to, the Institute. Proven initiative and problem solving skills and ability to organize, plan and manage complex tasks utilising effective management principles of working to deadlines, planning, resource allocation, communication, implementation, evaluation and reporting.
