Job Description

Irya SmarTec is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager (Government Sector) to lead our growth initiatives in the public sector. This role is specifically focused on building and strengthening business opportunities with ESCOMs (Electricity Supply Companies) and other government agencies involved in electrical infrastructure projects.)

Key Responsibilities :

Identify and pursue business opportunities with ESCOMs and government agencies.

Lead the preparation and submission of tenders, ensuring compliance with requirements.

Build and maintain strong relationships with ESCOM officials and government stakeholders.

Stay informed about market trends, government policies, and industry developments.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Qualifications & Requirements :

Bachelor s degree in engineering or business (preferred); MBA is a plus.

1 3 years of experience in business development, specifically with ESCOMs or other government institutions handling electrical tenders.

Established strong connections with ESCOM officials.

Proficiency in Kannada (mandatory) and English.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
