Job Summary:

The Project/Site Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and managing electrical projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budget, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills, along with in-depth knowledge of electrical systems and project management principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service
• Handle all documentation works
• Track delivery dates and ensure on-time completion
• Update orders with confirmed delivery times from vendors
• Maintain purchasing records
• Build strong relationships with team members
• Monitor tasks and meet KPIs
• Stay updated on electrical and MEP trends to improve project efficiency
• End to end project management activities right from project initiation stage till final product delivery
• Determine and define project scope and objectives as per customer requirement and needs.
• Determine project specifications by thorough study of performance standards, requirements and technical studies.
• Effectively communicate across business functions and different stakeholders
• Interact with suppliers and technicians to deliver according to the project deadlines.
• Interact with suppliers as needed for selecting components and clarifying technical queries

• Ensure execution of tasks in strict compliance with operating procedures
• Interact with customers on regular basis, obtain feedback and implement actions to improve and sustain good customer relations.
• Manage collections from customers

• Detailed Responsibilities:

• Oversee MEP schedules and ensure timely project completion
• Track progress and resolve any delays

• Liaise with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery
• Attend meetings to track project progress

• Maintain project documents and share progress reports

4.

• Assist with project budgets, track expenses, and review invoices

5.

• Ensure MEP work meets quality and safety standards

6.

• Resolve any issues with MEP systems or contractors

7.

• Review and manage contracts and keep documentation organized

8.

• Ensure adherence to safety regulations on-site

9.

• Prepare project closure reports and assist with handovers

• Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Utilize project management tools to monitor progress and identify potential challenges.

• Estimate project costs and formulate budgets in collaboration with the finance department.
• Monitor project expenses, exercise cost control, and make adjustments as needed.
• Provide regular financial reports to senior management.

• Lead a diverse team of electrical engineers, technicians, and subcontractors.
• Cultivate a collaborative and positive work environment.
• Offer guidance, support, and motivation to team members.

• Ensure projects adhere to relevant electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
• Implement and sustain quality control processes to meet or exceed client expectations.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety protocols.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide consistent project updates, address concerns, and manage client expectations.
• Identify opportunities for additional services and ensure overall customer satisfaction.

• Identify potential risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
• Proactively address issues that may impact project delivery.
• Implement contingency plans to minimize disruptions to the project.

• Requirements:

• Bachelors degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 1-3 years of project support experience (preferably in electrical or construction projects)
• Strong organizational and mathematical skills
• Excellent communication skills at all levels

• Experience with project management, contracts, and vendor relations preferred
• Ability to meet deadlines under pressure
