Role Overview We’re looking for a Pre-Sales & Counseling Team Manager to lead and mentor a team of Business Development Associates (BDAs) . This role combines leadership, empathy, sales execution, and a passion for helping learners make confident career decisions. Key Responsibilities Lead, train, and motivate a team of Business Development Associates (BDAs) to achieve monthly sales-qualified leads (SQL) targets . Manage the entire sales qualification lifecycle — from outbound calling and lead nurturing to qualification and handoff to the sales team. Ensure a high standard of empathy and consultative communication in all learner interactions. Act as a career coach by empowering your team to offer honest, compelling advice to prospective learners on how Beep's programs can accelerate their career growth. Monitor performance metrics daily and run weekly reviews, training sessions, and performance improvement plans . Maintain accurate reporting and CRM hygiene, ensuring detailed logs of all lead interactions. Regularly provide feedback to the marketing and product teams on lead quality, market trends, learner preferences, and competitor insights. Proactively handle escalations and ensure a smooth, high-quality learner experience. Assign weekly SQL goals and responsibilities across team members, reviewing performance and offering growth paths. Be hands-on in improving overall team conversion efficiency and nurturing a performance-first culture. Requirements 2–4 years of proven experience managing Sales or Pre-Sales teams , ideally in EdTech, SaaS, or Career Consulting environments. Demonstrated ability to drive revenue through a consultative, empathetic selling process. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for mentorship and team development. Data-driven mindset with experience using CRMs (e.g., LeadSquared, Salesforce, or similar). Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Sales teams.
