Position Overview:

This role is key to expanding our client base and revenue by identifying new business opportunities, pitching tailored marketing solutions, and building strong, long-term relationships. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of digital marketing services (SEO, SEM, Social Media, Performance Marketing, Web Development), a strong sales background, and the ability to close deals in a fast-paced, agency environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • New Business Acquisition: Identify and generate new leads through outbound outreach (email, LinkedIn, cold calls), inbound inquiries, networking events, and partnerships.
  • Client Pitching & Proposals: Understand client needs and craft customized digital marketing pitches and proposals in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Own the full sales funnel—from lead generation and qualification to pitching, negotiation, and closure.
  • Revenue Growth: Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly targets through new client acquisition and upselling to existing clients.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with strategy, copy, design, SEO, media, and content teams to ensure solutions are aligned with client objectives and deliverables.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed about market trends, competitor offerings, and evolving client needs to keep our services relevant and competitive.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
  • 4–6 years of business development/sales experience, preferably in a digital marketing or advertising agency
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing services (SEO, PPC, Social, Programmatic, Web Design, etc.)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to close deals and manage long-term client relationships


Nice to Have:

  • Established network or client base within relevant industries (e.g., e-commerce, B2B, real estate, education)
  • Experience working in performance marketing or managing retainer-based deals
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in fast-paced agency environments
