As a Business Development Representative at our company, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and establishing strong relationships with customers in the Dairy industry. Your responsibilities will include: - Conducting outbound prospecting to identify and qualify potential customers in the Dairy industry. - Researching and analyzing market trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs to effectively position Dairy software solutions. - Developing and maintaining a pipeline of qualified leads through cold calling, email outreach, social selling, and networking. - Engaging with decision-makers and stakeholders to understand their business challenges and present tailored software solutions that address their needs. - Collaborating with the sales team to strategize on account planning and execute sales initiatives to meet and exceed revenue targets. - Managing the sales cycle from lead generation to closure, including scheduling meetings, conducting product demonstrations, negotiating contracts, and closing deals. - Providing accurate and timely sales forecasts and reports to management using CRM tools. - Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers to drive customer satisfaction and retention. - Staying updated on industry trends, product developments, and the competitive landscape to effectively position our solutions in the market. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. - 5+ years of experience in software sales or business development, preferably in B2B SaaS. - Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and quotas. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with customers at all levels. - Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office suite.
