You will design, develop, implement, and coordinate systems, policies, and procedures in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy. Proactively analyzing, identifying, and providing remedies to potential issues with IT systems will be a key part of your responsibilities. Ensuring the security of data, network access, and backup systems will be crucial, along with preserving assets, information security, and control structures. You will handle the annual budget and ensure cost-effectiveness, expertise in data center management and data governance, data/server backups support, and hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration, and network installation. Planning for and responding to service outages and other problems will also be part of your duties. You will fully manage the company's security solutions, including firewall, anti-virus, and detection systems, as well as audit systems and assess their outcomes. Additionally, you will be responsible for IT procurement and asset management stock control. Managing IT staff by recruiting, training, and coaching employees, communicating job expectations, and appraising their performance will also fall under your purview. Designing and implementing best practice IT policies and being willing to work night shifts as required by operational and emergency protocols are essential.
