About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and result-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead our international business expansion, primarily targeting clients in the United States. The ideal candidate should have proven experience in selling IT services, especially custom mobile and web app development, and must be capable of managing the entire sales lifecycle — from lead generation to deal closure.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation:

  • Identify, research, and generate new business opportunities through platforms like LinkedIn, Clutch, Upwork, Apollo, Sales Navigator, email campaigns, and other outbound channels. Develop and maintain a qualified sales pipeline of potential clients across the USA.

Client Engagement & Sales Process:

  • Conduct discovery calls to understand client requirements and challenges.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to prepare tailored proposals, quotations, and project plans.
  • Deliver persuasive sales presentations, demos, and follow-ups to convert prospects into paying clients.
  • Negotiate project scope, pricing, and contractual terms to close deals successfully.
  • Account Management:
  • Maintain long-term client relationships and identify opportunities for upselling/cross-selling.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between clients and the internal project delivery team.
  • Ensure client satisfaction and timely resolution of escalations during pre- and post-sales stages.

Reporting & Strategy:

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client communications, and deal progress in CRM (e.g., HubSpot, Zoho, or Pipedrive).
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
  • Provide strategic input on improving market positioning, outreach, and campaign effectiveness.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience in IT services / software sales / app development sales targeting USA or global markets.
  • Strong understanding of mobile app development (iOS, Android, Flutter) and web technologies (React, Laravel, Node.js, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven track record of managing end-to-end sales cycles — from prospecting to closing.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools like HubSpot, Zoho CRM, or Pipedrive.
  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working with a custom app development company or digital agency.
  • Exposure to AI, FinTech, eCommerce, HealthTech, or TravelTech industries.
  • Existing network or client base in the USA region is a strong plus.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Number of qualified leads generated per month.
  • Conversion rate from leads to closed deals.
  • Monthly/Quarterly revenue generated.
  • Client satisfaction and retention rate.
