Reporting to :

Head - Business Development / Zonal Head

Role Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Manager to drive strategic growth in the infrastructure construction segment. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in B2B/B2G business development, knowledge of concrete mix designs, and the agility to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment.

Key Responsibilites:

· Identify and develop new business opportunities in the infrastructure construction sector.· Maintain and grow relationships with key clients through effective Key Account Management (KAM).· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand client needs and deliver customized solutions.· Drive sales initiatives, pipeline development, and revenue targets across the assigned region.· Demonstrate sound knowledge of concrete technologies, mix designs, and chemical additives/admixtures.· Track market trends, competitor activities, and government project pipelines.· Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings.· Ensure seamless coordination with internal stakeholders to meet delivery and service standards.· Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and strategic inputs to the Zonal and Business Heads.· Travel extensively within the assigned territory as required.

Desired Qualification:

Education:

· Bachelor’s degree in Civil / Polymer / Chemical Engineering (Mandatory)Master’s degree in Engineering / MBA (Preferred).

Experience:

· 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in infrastructure construction business development.· Preference for candidates with B2B (Industrial) and B2G (Government) sector exposure.· Veterans from the industry, recently retired, may apply for full-time, part-time, or contractual roles.

Key Competencies:

· Deep understanding of concrete technologies and construction applications.· Proven experience in strategic sales, client acquisition, and retention for Corrosion Inhibiting additive especially in liquid CI.· Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.· Self-driven, proactive, and able to work both independently and within teams.· Adaptable to the dynamic needs of a growing, start-up-like organization.· High level of customer orientation and competitive awareness.
