Position: Business Development Manager (BDM)


Pay: - 45,000.00 - 60,000.00 per month


Schedule : Day shift


Education : Bachelor's


Experience : Business development: 3 years (Preferred)


Language : English / Tamil / Hindi


Work Location : Salem/Erode (in office)


Job Summary:


The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for driving growth and expansion for the IT and ITeS services that IGIS will be catering to or aim to expand to. The BDM will manage client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and lead the sales process from lead generation to contract closure. This position requires a deep understanding of IT and ITeS services, strong networking abilities, and a passion for achieving sales targets.


Key Responsibilities:


Business Development:


  • - Identify and generate new business opportunities for IGIS.
  • - Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
  • - Develop strategies to increase market share within the target sectors
  • - Identify prospects, qualify leads, and manage the sales pipeline.
  • - Be the primary point of contact for potential clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • - Prepare proposals, presentations, and contracts.
  • - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful implementation of solutions.
  • - Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention.


Sales Target Achievement:


  • - Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs set by management.
  • - Negotiate pricing and contract terms with clients to secure profitable deals.
  • - Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify new sales opportunities.


Market Research and Analysis:


  • - Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and market opportunities.
  • - Provide feedback to internal teams to refine service offerings based on market demand.


Collaboration & Teamwork:


  • - Work closely with internal operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding and delivery of services.
  • - Participate and contribute in cross-functional discussions to align on business strategies and execution plans.


Reporting & Documentation:


  • - Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client communications, and progress reports.
  • - Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance and market conditions to senior management.


Qualifications & Skills:


Experience:


  • - 4-7 years of experience in ITeS Sales or Business development.
  • - Proven track record in driving sales and converting potential clients.


Education:


  • - Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.


Skills:


  • - Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • - Strong understanding of IT/ITeS Services and industry trends.
  • - Ability to work independently and also as part of a team.
  • - Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
  • - Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce, Zoho, etc.) and MS Office tools.
