Job Overview

We are seeking a strategic and result-driven Business Development Manager to join our growing team at Prism Inc. The ideal candidate will have experience in identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and driving revenue—preferably within the lighting, construction, or building materials industry.

This role demands strong industry knowledge, client-handling expertise, and the ability to lead the entire business development cycle from lead generation to closure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships
  • Build and maintain relationships with architects, consultants, contractors, and procurement heads
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and site visits (as needed)
  • Create and execute strategic plans to achieve business targets
  • Oversee proposal creation, costings, and documentation with internal teams
  • Track sales pipelines, performance metrics, and client feedback
  • Represent the company at industry events and exhibitions
  • Collaborate with sales, design, and operations teams for smooth project handovers

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • 4–6 years of experience in B2B business development, preferably in construction or lighting-related domains
  • Proven experience in client relationship management and high-value deal closures
  • Strong network within the architecture, interior, and building material space

Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Confident presentation and negotiation abilities
  • Strategic thinking with hands-on execution
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Kannada, Hindi, and English is preferred
  • Willingness to travel and manage multiple projects simultaneously
