Business Development Manager (BDM)

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Developer with experience in the USA transportation industry to help drive growth and expand our business. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of the transportation sector, including logistics, freight, and supply chain solutions. This role requires the ability to build relationships, identify new business opportunities, and close deals with clients, while fostering long-term partnerships in a highly competitive market.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience: 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the USA transportation, logistics, or supply chain industry.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
• Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the USA transportation market, including regulations (e.g., FMCSA, DOT), freight services (LTL, FTL), and transportation technologies (TMS, GPS tracking).
• Sales Skills: Proven track record of closing deals and generating revenue through new business development in a competitive environment.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear, persuasive manner.
• Negotiation: Strong negotiation skills with the ability to manage pricing discussions and contract terms.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to identify client pain points and provide tailored transportation solutions.
• CRM and Tech Savvy: Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce), Microsoft Office Suite, and familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS).
• Self-Starter: Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet sales targets.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in freight brokerage, third-party logistics (3PL), or supply chain solutions.
• Existing relationships with key players in the transportation industry (carriers, brokers, shippers).
• Knowledge of emerging technologies in the transportation sector (e.g., autonomous vehicles, AI-driven logistics).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
